23歲女大學(xué)生病逝捐遺體臨終前與家人拍寫真留念

After being diagnosed with late-stage stomach cancer, 23-year-old Liu Yuan made two decisions.

在被診斷出胃癌晚期后，23歲的劉圓做了兩個(gè)決定。

First, she planned for a series of portraits to be taken of her and her family, so she could always be with them in some capacity.

首先，她計(jì)劃拍很多自己和家人在一起的照片，這樣在某種程度上她就可以永遠(yuǎn)和家人在一起。

Next, she decided that her organs should be donated and her remains used for medical research.

接下來劉圓決定捐獻(xiàn)自己的器官，遺體用于醫(yī)學(xué)研究。

Liu, from Siyang County, Jiangsu province, received her diagnosis after returning home from university for summer vacation.

劉圓來自江蘇泗陽，大學(xué)放暑假回家之后被診斷出患了癌癥。

On July 6, Liu noticed that her abdomen felt uncomfortably swollen. She tried to ignore the discomfort, but her parents convinced her to go to the hospital.

7月6日，劉圓注意到自己的腹部非常腫脹不舒服。她本想不管這種不適感，但是她的父母勸她到醫(yī)院看看。

Two days later, Liu was told by doctors that her stomach was filled with fluid caused by late-stage stomach cancer.

兩天之后，醫(yī)生告知劉圓她的腹部全是積水，已經(jīng)是胃癌晚期了。

To her family's shock and dismay, the disease was pronounced terminal.

這一消息讓劉圓的家人異常震驚和沮喪，胃癌晚期也就意味著劉圓的生命快要走到盡頭了。

Following the diagnosis, Liu requested just one thing from her family.

在被診斷出胃癌晚期后，劉圓只向她的家人要求了一件事情。

Before her disease got even worse, she wanted to take a series of photos with her parents and elder brother. These, she hoped, would help them to remember her once she was gone.

在她的病情惡化之前，她想跟自己的父母和哥哥拍很多很多的照片。劉圓希望一旦她離開之后，這些照片能夠幫助他們想起自己。

So, between treatments, Liu and her family went to a studio to have their first and last set of photos taken together as a family.

The once-lively Liu worked hard during the photo shoot to make sure her inner sorrow wouldn't show on her face.

在拍攝照片時(shí)，曾經(jīng)活潑好動的劉圓強(qiáng)忍著悲痛，不讓內(nèi)心的悲傷流露在自己的臉上。

On Sept. 28, Liu returned to the hospital, well aware that her time was short. It was then that Liu made her second request.

9月28日，劉圓回到了醫(yī)院，她很清楚自己已經(jīng)時(shí)日無多了。這時(shí)候劉圓提出了自己的第二個(gè)要求。

She said to her parents, "My disease is incurable; after I die, I want to donate my body to medical research. If any of my organs can help someone else to live, then I want them to live on in that capacity."

劉圓對爸爸媽媽說道："我的病治不好了；我死了之后，我想把我的遺體捐給醫(yī)學(xué)研究。如果我身體里任何一個(gè)器官可以幫助別人活下去的話，那么我就希望他們能用我的器官活下去。"

In her last days, Liu's disease worsened. Her oral cavity became swollen, and she often lost consciousness.

在劉圓最后的日子里，她的病情惡化了。她的口腔變得腫起來，還經(jīng)常失去意識。

On Oct. 25, on her death bed, she asked her parents to inform her university of her death, and to ensure that her remains were sent to Nanjing Medical University for medical research.

10月25日，在她去世的那張床上，劉圓請求爸爸媽媽通知大學(xué)她的死訊，并且確認(rèn)將自己的遺體送往南京醫(yī)科大學(xué)供醫(yī)學(xué)研究之用。

Liu passed away on Oct. 27, forever 23 in the hearts of her friends and family.

10月27日，劉圓離開了這個(gè)世界，而在家人和朋友的心中，她永遠(yuǎn)是23歲。
